Step 5: Products/ Material Research, Selection & Importing
The number of building types, equipment options, and material choices has increased over the years, yet they are often massed produced and disconnected from our culture and social roots.
Today we are not limited to products traditionally available locally or regionally. Even a small operation can access equipment manufacturers and suppliers that previously served only world-class trainers and facilities, it is a mistake to think that state-of-the-art solutions are more expensive than those traditionally available to the American equestrian marketplace.
It is also important to consider the long-term const implications of such decisions, as an up front investment in a more efficient or viable system can reduce both labor and maintenance costs down the road.
